Camps Coordinator

Wesley Mission is seeking a creative and well organised Coordinator for our exciting School Holiday Camp programmes at Mangrove Mountain Retreat, a Wildlife Sanctuary on the Central Coast, just over one hour north of Sydney. experiences for children and youth including the disadvantaged in our community. The Holiday Camps Department runs weekend mini-camps as well as school holiday and family camps. It also partners with organisations in the design and running of camps for children, youth and families. liaises with welfare agencies and others who nominate disadvantaged children for a camp, recruits and mobilises a team of Volunteer Leaders for camps and plays a key role in developing the programmes and overseeing the running of camps.

Host - Guest Relations
Mangrove Mountain Retreat
A Guest Relations Host is required at Mangrove Mountain Retreat, a Wesley Mission operated Wildlife Sanctuary on the Central Coast, just over one hour north of Sydney. Attracting children, youth and adult groups, the Retreat offers a range of adventure activities and programmes to suit all levels of need or simply to have fun.
It’s our desire that Customers have an enjoyable and ‘seamless’ experience while at Mangrove Mountain Retreat. Working with the Guest Relations Manager, the Host facilitates the meeting of Customer needs during their stay. This involves assisting groups with their programme delivery and ensuring the Customer Service of the Retreat remains at a high standard. The role also provides administrative support to the Guest Relations Manager in clarifying bookings issues, gathering Customer feedback and responding to Customer complaints.
Essential:
- Qualifications in a related field such as Event Management, Hospitality or Customer Relations.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Project Officer with extensive mental health knowledge to audit the current drug & alcohol and mental health capacity of Wesley Rehabilitation Services (WRS). This may include the initialisation of Policies and Procedures related to this project, developing databases to include routine identification of mental health issues at point of enquiry as well as at admission and, identify and implement testing and assessment tools.
Develop workforce development plan to enhance mental health literacy of staff
The project officer will develop service measures to build capacity of WRS to better meet the needs of clients experiencing comorbid substance abuse and mental illness.
