Community Ageing and Disability Services
Wesley Mission demonstrates substantial and effective care for the aged and frail, people living with disabilities and for their carers alike, through high and low-care residential facilities, independent living, community programs, home care and carers’ respite. Wesley Disability Services focuses on ensuring that people with a disability are valued and accepted, with the aim of helping them develop skills and maintain an active community life.
Within Community Aging and Disability Services we offer the following:
- Residential Living offers a Christian environment and comfortable lifestyle in villages, low care and high care facilities. Respite Services for aged persons are available in our high and low care facilities.
- Community Support Services offers comprehensive and coordinated maintenance, nursing and other support services for frail older people, people with a disability and their carers who live at home. These services include Community Aged Care Packages (CACP), Extended Aged Care in the Home (EACH), Carelink, in-home respite, domestic assistance, and home modification or maintenance.
- Wesley Day Centre and Wesley Schools for Seniors provide stimulating activities and learning opportunities for older people.
- Wesley Disability Services encompasses a broad range of valuable programs to assist people with disabilities and their families to live independent and fulfilling lives. These services include group homes and emergency respite accommodation, day respite centres, life skills development programs and in home support visits.
- Wesley Disability Enterprise delivers employment and training opportunities for people with disabilities in a range of commercial business services which include cleaning and gardening services and a packaging factory.
